# Billing Source: https://docs.getworg.com/billing Worg is prepaid. You top up a balance in US dollars, and each request is charged for the tokens it used. ## The balance The balance is kept in US dollars. Each request is charged at the rates of the lane that served it: input, cached input and output tokens, each per million. Before a request is sent, Worg sets aside the most it can cost and charges only what it used when it ends. Set `max_tokens` to keep that hold small. See [Rate limits](https://docs.getworg.com/rate-limits#hold). Requests refused before they reach a lane, for example by a limit, are not charged. ## Top up with QRIS 1. In Billing, or with Top up in the sidebar, pick US$20, US$100 or US$500, or enter an amount in rupiah. 2. The rupiah price is fixed when you create the order, at the day's exchange rate including a conversion margin. You have 30 minutes to pay. 3. Scan the QRIS code with any Indonesian bank or e-wallet app. The balance goes up once the payment is confirmed. - One order is between Rp10,000 and Rp10,000,000. Up to 5 orders can wait for payment at once. - An order you have not paid yet shows Continue payment, and Check status asks for its state again. - Your bank or e-wallet may show a different merchant name for the payment. The receipt explains which one. - QRIS needs an Indonesian bank or e-wallet. Other payment methods are not available yet. ## Receipts Each paid top-up has Download PDF in the Top-ups table. The receipt is a payment receipt, not a tax invoice (faktur pajak), and no VAT is charged. Tax invoices are not issued yet. The name and address on it come from Organization, General. ## Balance emails - Low balance: sent to the organization's alert email when the balance falls under a threshold. Owners and admins set the amount or turn it off in Billing. Without an amount, the threshold is 3 days of your average spend over the last 7 days, or US$5 without recent spend. It is sent at most once a day, and again only after the balance has been above the threshold. - Balance empty: sent when a request is first refused for lack of balance, at most once a day. It cannot be turned off. ## Unpaid balance The hold keeps the balance from going below zero in almost every case. If it does, the console shows Unpaid balance, every request gets `402`, and you cannot create keys or use the Playground. Your next top-up pays the unpaid amount first; the top-up window shows what will be left on the balance before you pay. ## Contract billing Companies with a contract can be billed monthly instead of paying in advance. Owners and admins then see Monthly statements in Billing, and requests over the credit limit get `402 credit_limit_reached`. To ask about a contract, write to [team@getworg.com](mailto:team@getworg.com). ## Referrals Owners and admins can share a referral link from Referrals in the console. When an organization you referred pays for usage, your organization earns balance credit for a limited time. Credit cannot be withdrawn or moved. The conditions and limits are in the [referral program terms](https://getworg.com/referral/). > Questions about a charge > > Usage in the console shows the cost of every lane, key and day, and Export CSV downloads it. For anything else, write to [team@getworg.com](mailto:team@getworg.com) with the order code from the Top-ups table.
