# Platform overview Source: https://docs.getworg.com/platform-overview An organization holds the balance, the people and the keys. Each key calls lanes, and each request is paid from the balance at the rates of the lane that served it. ## Organization Signing up at [console.getworg.com](https://console.getworg.com) creates an organization, for a company or for yourself, and makes you its owner. The organization holds the balance, the members, the workspaces, the keys and the combos. One person can belong to several organizations and switch between them in the console. ## Workspaces Every organization starts with a workspace named Default. Add more to separate projects or environments, for example one for production and one for development. A workspace can have its own monthly budget and its own requests-per-minute and tokens-per-minute limits. Each key belongs to one workspace, and archiving a workspace revokes all of its keys. See [Organization](https://docs.getworg.com/organization#workspaces). ## Members and roles - Owner: everything, including roles and the organization's monthly budget. - Admin: members, billing, combos, and the keys and limits of every member. - Member: sees usage and creates keys with the default limits. Details per role are in [Organization](https://docs.getworg.com/organization#roles). ## API keys A key authenticates requests to `/v1`. It belongs to a workspace, has its own limits and monthly budget, can be limited to some lanes, and expires after 90 days unless you pick another expiry. You need a balance above zero to create one. See [Authentication](https://docs.getworg.com/authentication#keys). ## Lanes A lane is a model served one particular way, with its own price and capabilities. The model ID names the lane: the part after the colon. These are the lanes open today: - `deepseek-v4.1-flash:cached`: DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, low cached price - `deepseek-v4.1-flash:standard`: DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, 7-day cache, shared cache - `qwen3.8-27b:standard`: Qwen3.8 27B Prices, limits and capabilities per lane are in [Models and compatibility](https://docs.getworg.com/models). Worg never moves a request to another lane by itself. ## Combos A combo is an ordered list of lanes that you call as one model, `combo/`. Worg tries the lanes in your order when one is busy or unavailable. See [Combos](https://docs.getworg.com/combos). ## Prepaid balance The balance is in US dollars and is paid in advance. You top it up in rupiah with QRIS, at an exchange rate fixed when you create the order. Each request is charged for the tokens it used, at its lane's rates. Before sending a request, Worg sets aside the most it can cost and releases the rest when it ends. See [Billing](https://docs.getworg.com/billing).
